Last dance prac
Well today was the last time I had to wake up early on saturday for dance prac. The last WD prac actually. I’m havin’ mixed feelings about it :/. On one hand I’m kinda happy I don’t have to wake up early on saturdays anymore, and pretty soon I won’t have to stay back late on tuesdays too. But I’m feeling rather sad too…especially since I missed most of today’s practice because of NAPFA. I think I’ll really miss dance practices with WD. Although it’s only been a little more than a year since I joined, I really can’t bear to have to stop going for practices soon. WD is the first CCA I actually enjoyed and didn’t pon at all.
Aristal’s next tuesday! Excited! But it also officially marks the end of the sh2s days in WD ):. I’m sure I would take away many amazing memories with me :’).
Anyway let’s make Aristal a success! JY everyone! :D
New Year
2011 was an amazing year. New school, new friends. It really took some time to get used to but I did it :) Of course this was all thanks to the people I met in NJ. Here I am, on the first day of 2012. Time really flies. On this day last year I was still waiting for my O level results. I think it’s really amazing how much things have changed. Facebook’s new timeline feature was unexpectedly useful in letting me see how much I’ve changed. For the better or for the worse? Screw that haha. :)
Let the regrets of 2011 stay where they are, they don’t need to be brought over to 2012. New year, New beginnings! (reminds me of the dance group 6 choreoed during camp). Western Dance also made my life in NJ a lot better :) I learnt a lot being in WD. Shall not elaborate cuz I’m lazy ;). It’s the first CCA I lasted so long in! Thank you all my fellow dancers,
11SH07 is an awesome class to be in! Thanks for all the fun times! Talking crap and deep stuff at the same time during breaks plus all the shit haha. Luckily I’m not in Science. I think it’s really cool how our class managed to stay wild and crazy even close to promos. All the ponners and slackers I salute thou. Hope this won’t change this year ;)
PW was sianz. But it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Really glad I didn’t have to experience for myself all the horror stories told by the seniors. You know, those about group mates becoming enemies and all that bitterness. Guess it’s cause my group was rather chill haha. I still remember that time we ponned school to do our WR and things got outta hand. Well, at least the teachers forgot bout it ;). Renee, Kailing, Sharon and Alicia thanks for being awesome group mates! All the best for PW grades!
Ah and YFC. Dylan, James and YewLoong, you guys are awesome. YFC really played a major role in my 2011. It was a tough but worthwhile journey. Discussions, meetings on top of school stuffs. Kinder work really added to our workload but it also gave us a chance to catch up with each other during the year. Looking back I feel it’s really amazing how we managed it all. Haha rushing reports a few days before the deadline was …idk what to say haha. Kindled night was truly memorable. I mean how many 17 year olds can say they’ve organised a charity gala dinner? Eff yeah we’re awesome! Teaching the kids with some of the western dancers was also an unforgettable experience. Their eagerness and enthusiasm truly touched me. Kinda miss them but haven’t found the time to go back to aLife yet.
CGLP trip. Heh, more fun than I ever expected. Made new friends, learnt new stuff. Really enjoyed that 9 days!
Combined school dance camp! Gave me lots of aches butttttttt it was worth it :) I learnt so much!
